For more information, visit the Football NSW website. All about Football at the Home of the Mighty Rams. We are one of 23 clubs on the Central Coast bringing the most popular game in the world to the local community. Completely run by volunteers in their spare time. Kids need to be turning 5 in the calendar year to start playing and we cater for all abilities and all ages for boys and girls, men and women. The younger non-competition age groups (Under 5s through Under 11s) play in the southern area of the coast. As the children get older the boundary expands to include the northern half of the Coast. Our home ground is Hylton Moore Park. Cnr Wattle and Althorp Streets East Gosford. Coaching occurs weekly at our home ground, usually one night for the younger kids and 2 nights as they get older. Timing depends on who coach is and when he or she is available to give up their time. On-line registrations open in early January, we start playing in the first week of April and finish in August / September. (Whilst training and trial games start in March for most teams, the senior league teams commence training much earlier. Watch the website, Facebook or our App for updates) Costs are $35 for shorts and socks from the club, registration costs vary from year to year but a guide is around the $180 mark for non comp, $190 for juniors and $320 for adults. Boots from about $45 and shinpads from about $10 are compulsory and can be bought at many sports stores. Usually $2 to $5 per week after that for referee’s fees or when no referee (common in the younger age groups), a kitty builds up for an end of year party or whatever the parents / players decide. We're a family friendly club who take their football seriously but without losing sight of the joy of playing the game. We facilitate the game to all of our players whether they are playing ‘just for fun’ or have their sights set higher. We do our best to identify and develop those more talented players before sending them on to higher levels with our blessing. Our successes are many and reputation excellent. Welcome to the Rams. What’s it all about?

Our sponsors We are very grateful for the support from our major sponsors who have been looking after the Rams for a very long time. We ask you to consider whether they can assist you too whenever you may be in need of a product or service they offer. Our Mariners ambassador Tom Hiariej is our ambassador for the 17/18 season. Tom is from FC Groningen, a club that competes in the Eredivisie (top tier of football in the Netherlands) Earlier in his career, he was played predominantly as a right-back but in recent years has played his best football as a central midfielder and will add much needed experience to Okon’s midfield stocks with the retirement of outgoing skipper, Nick Montgomery. To top it off, his former Dutch club sports the same colours as the Mighty Rams! Welcome Tom!
Our calendar Our committee It is becoming increasingly harder to find volunteers today but the Rams are certainly the exception this year. We are very excited to welcome on board a number of new faces who compliment our already solid, long serving committee. Ii is a pleasure to introduce the following coordinators; Young Alex Gibbons who will be watching over our MiniRoos from Under 5s through U7s. Well known senior stalwart Steve Farr will be looking after our U8s through U11s MiniRoos. 2017 Club Person of the Year Troy Ward and the very enthusiastic Will Parry will oversee the junior mixed teams. Kathy Hansen and Judith McIntosh will take good care of our women’s teams. The promotions role has been largely vacant in the recent past but we now have the indefatiguable Lee Cowell who has plenty of excellent form in this area. Finally, in a first for the Rams, we have a technical director who will ensure our coaches and players are receiving the very best guidance so they will have every opportunity to fulfill their potential. Welcome to Bret Smith.
